During the month of June, the Columbus Police Department's Fugitive Unit recorded 62 arrests involving individuals wanted on outstanding warrants and active criminal charges. Charges included violent felonies, property crimes, firearm offenses, drug violations, fraud-related offenses, and probation violations.

The Columbus City Council has approved a temporary curfew ordinance for unsupervised minors in Uptown Columbus. The ordinance will take effect 10 days after Mayor Skip Henderson signs it and will remain in effect through September 30, 2026, unless extended by City Council.

The Columbus Police Department is aware of ongoing issues involving groups of unsupervised minors gathering in Uptown and other business areas across the city during evening hours. Officers and business owners have seen ongoing incidents involving disruptive behavior, trespassing, fights, and social media-driven disturbances inside businesses. In several cases, businesses have closed early because of the disruptions.
